- Heated jackets and vests can be washed, both hand-washed and machine-washed. - It is important to disconnect the battery if the jacket gets soaked inside. - Modern waterproof garments are designed to be washed in a washing machine. - Follow the instructions on the washing label and use appropriate settings on the washing machine. - Remove the battery and empty the pockets before washing. - Put the connector cable inside a pocket and close it. - Place the heated clothing inside a mesh laundry bag. - Use the washing machine's setting for waterproof clothing, or delicates, silks, synthetics, or wool settings. - Use the cold/gentle setting on the washing machine. - Do not dry clean or use bleach. - To wash a Milwaukee Heated Jacket: Disconnect and remove the battery pack and battery holder from the pocket. Push the power cord into the battery holder pocket and close it. Machine wash on gentle cycle in warm water, tumble dry on low heat. Do not iron, wring or twist. Do not dry clean. Do not bleach or use dry-cleaning fluid. - To wash a DeWalt Heated Jacket: Disconnect the power jack and remove the battery pack and USB power source from the pocket. Follow the care label. Wash and dry according to the garment care tag. Use a commercial liquid soap product. Do not use fabric softeners, biological powders, or strong detergents. Do not dry clean. Do not bleach. Do not iron or press. - To wash an Ororo Heated Jacket: Disconnect and remove the battery from the zipper pocket. Put the connector cable back and close the zipper pocket. Place the jacket inside a mesh laundry bag. Machine-wash it. Dry it. - To wash a Herbing Heated Jacket: Tuck plugs into zippered pockets and close zippers. Check pockets for any other items and remove them. Fill a clean sink with lukewarm or cold water and add a few drops of mild detergent. Gently swirl the clothing in the sink to soap it up. Rinse thoroughly with clean tap water until no more suds are visible. Gently squeeze out the water (do not wring or twist). Allow the garment to air dry completely before using.
